About

Oracle Trading is the University of Chicago’s premier prediction markets research and trading club. We manage a $20,000 portfolio deployed to prediction markets primarily on Polymarket.

Our mission is to provide an authentic trading experience through active portfolio management. While Oracle provides a stellar foundation for a career in quantitative finance, it is not just a pre-professional organization; the club, comprised of curious, driven student-traders, is a place of continued learning and camaraderie.

Our training begins with our rigorous New Member Education curriculum, designed to teach the math, programming, and statistical techniques that underpin trading; we operate under the assumption that people join the club with no prior knowledge. Afterward, we provide continued development opporeturtunities to all our members through industry presentations, real life strategy development opportunities, mentorship programs, and events with alumni and employers.
